Hey... welcome to my absolute idiot blog. The aim of this blog is simply to pick up the various idiot things done by local idiots, anywhere, everywhere in Singapore!!!
The very first idiot that I'm going to pick up is bus commuters alighting from buses through the entrance doors when the bus is not packed with commuters.
No photo as proof but this not so old auntie simply alight from the front door and deliberately block others from boarding the bus. The back door is not crowded with people.
The very second idiot was a Chinese boarding the very same bus as the first idiot mentioned above. He tried to get a free ride on the bus by tapping his wallet on the scanner without the ez-link card inside. He was caught red-handed by the bus captain but argued that he already tapped his card. He scolded all sorts of vulgarities at the bus captain and tried to escape. Yes, he exited the bus without paying any cent but unknown to him, he was captured on video by a hidden CCTV which was pointing directly at him!!! What's going to happen to him nobody knows.
Past encounters: I've seen many people doing the same thing as the second idiot. More clever cheats are those who have their ez-link cards in their wallets but place the wallets above the scanner, pretending to tap his card and then walked off. Sometimes, these cheats think that he is being blocked by another boarding commuter and would not be caught, but many are being caught either red-handed by the bus-captains or captured live on CCTV. Trouble awaiting them!!!
